Help us build the next chapter of Photohaus

How it started

Photohaus started in 2020 as a creative space for our family.

We wanted a place where we could make things, hang art, take pictures, experiment, and simply have room to create together.

That was the beginning.

Over time, the space grew beyond our family.

Photographers began using it for shoots. Families came through for portraits. Artists and other creatives made work here.

What started as our family’s creative space and gallery gradually became the photography rental studio Photohaus is today.

What it became

Photohaus didn’t stay ours for long.

Photographers began using the space to bring their ideas to life. Families came through to make portraits and mark important moments. Artists, entrepreneurs, and other creatives found their own reasons to use it.

Little by little, Photohaus became more than a studio.

It became a place people could come to make something.

What comes next

Now we’re ready to open Photohaus up in a new way.

We’ll be using the space for classes, workshops, and creative experiences for kids, teens, and young adults.

Photography will be at the heart of it, along with opportunities to learn from working creatives, make things with their hands, experiment with ideas, and spend time in a space built for creating.

We want Photohaus to become the kind of place where a young person can discover what they’re capable of making.

What it will take

We’re raising $15,000 to help prepare Photohaus for this next chapter.

The funding will go toward lighting and electrical upgrades, better storage and furnishings, and the equipment and supplies we need to comfortably host classes and workshops.

The goal is simple: make the space work better for the young people who will be learning, making, and creating here.
